Terms and Conditions
Any booking either via our online shop or upon payment of a PayPal or cash invoice is an agreement between Essex Beauty Training School and you.
These terms and conditions apply to your booking a course place and any other matters arising from that application. They aim to outline our obligation to you and your obligation to us. Course dates and assessments may also be subject to change.
Processing of applications and paypal
Course bookings are processed on first come first served basis.
To secure your place on a course, submit either a deposit or full payment (depending on start date – all courses starting within 14 days need to be paid in full) to Essex Beauty Training School via paypal, or our online shop.
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties
You will be required to attend an interview prior to a full NVQ course.
Deposits
If you are booking a course more than 14 days before the start date of the course you are eligible to pay a £25 deposit to secure your place on the course. Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable and the course balance will still need to be paid 14 days prior to the start of the course.
Transfer Policy
A booking may be transferred for the same course subject to availability, free of charge if 4 or more weeks notice is given.
If less than 4 weeks notice is given, you will incur an administration charge of £40.00.
Essex Beauty Training School is under no obligation to offer a transfer of courses.

Cancellations Policy
Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the course start date, and non-attendance, incur 100% of fees paid. If medical certification can be provided, the course will be transferred to a new date. Any subsequent course cancellation will incur a forfeit of all fees paid.
Essex Beauty Training School is under no obligation to offer a refund of any fees paid.
For cancellations with over 4 weeks notice, a fee of £25 will be deducted from the refund of the full course price plus the admin fee specific for the course you are booked on, this must be submitted in writing by post before the refund is given.
For the full NVQ, there will be no refund given once booked on and registered.
Refunds will not be applicable if any of the online training material has been accessed.
Transfer of Fees
If monies are transferred for an alternative date, they will be held for up to three months, after this time if no alternative date booked any unused fees will be forfeited.
Models
If you can not provide your own models please let us know and we will provide models for you. There is no charge for us to provide models, and no charge to the models to have treatments on the day of your course.
Certification
Certificates are issued in the name stated on the application form. If you require a NVQ Certificate it will be sent from VTCT once all the modules have been covered. Certificates will not be sent if any fees are outstanding.
Changes to Personal Details
It is your responsibility to ensure that personal details held by Essex Beauty Training School are correct and to notify us of any changes e.g. name, address. Written notification of changes in personal details must be sent. Essex Beauty Training School will not be liable for any errors due to incorrect personal information.
Individual Needs
If you feel you need additional support with particular learning needs e.g. physical disability, hearing impairment or literacy skills, please could you inform us of your individual needs when booking. We will contact you to discuss your requirements.
Kits
If you would like to order additional kits, payment will be required in full.
Copyright
Essex Beauty Training School holds a copyright for all course content, which must not be copied or reproduced in any other form without written permission.
Uniform
Essex Beauty Training School has a dress code, where all students attending NVQ are required to wear either their tunic and trousers or black T-Shirt with black trousers and flat closed toe shoes.
Weather
If Essex Beauty Training School has to close due to conditions outside our control, including adverse weather conditions, flooding or industrial action we are not able to offer refunds however the course will be moved to an alternative date.
