Day one will cover the following

• The principles of Holistic Therapeutic Body Massage, and guidance on how to develop a massage routine for each individual client.

• The benefits of massage and its contraindications

Day two

• Trouble shooting

• Performing massage full body massage on a minimum of two clients

• Aftercare Advice

• Forms of Marketing and how to get yourself noticed

• UK Business Laws relevant to sound practice

• Health & Safety related to clinical practice.

• Setting up a successful massage practice

• How to get clients

• Carrying out full body massage on a model

• Be able to treat common complaints effectively using "Effective Therapeutic Massage Techniques"

• The proper application of massage techniques and use of body posture to prevent client or therapist injury

• Postural Observation and its importance

• Use of different massage mediums

• How to resolve tightness and "knots" in tense muscles using soft tissue and massage techniques

• Case studies provided for student to go home and practice

 All anatomy and physiology information will be sent to you prior the beginning of the course and this will be discussed briefly throughout the two day course

Through a variety of methods including research (IT and non-IT based), written activities, practical and demonstration.
