Why Study NVQ at the Essex Beauty Training School?

 

We offer flexible payment plans, allowing you to pay for your NVQ over the duration of the course.  All our full NVQ courses are also available as a fast track option.

 

Our NVQ level 2 in Beauty Therapy courses are designed for the total beginner who wishes to spend longer gaining their qualification to someone gaining a beauty therapy qualification using our fast track system.

 

You can become a beauty therapist in as little as 14 weeks, whilst obtaining a nationally recognised NVQ Level 2 qualification.

 

Our NVQ level 3 in Beauty Therapy courses are designed for those students who have already studied Level 2 and wish to progress further onto Level 3 or for those complete beginners who have an interest in holistic body treatments.

 

You can become a beauty therapist in as little as 20 weeks, whilst obtaining a nationally recognised NVQ Level 3 qualification. This NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy is the perfect way to advance as a beauty therapist. This will open lots of doors for you within the beauty industry and allow you to progress into specialist’s fields within the beauty industry and work in well-established salons and spas.

 

Our Level 4 qualification in Beauty Therapy is designed for therapists that already hold a level 3 qualification in beauty.  If you're not sure if you have the correct qualifications, please contact us to discuss.

 

If you are looking to persue a career in Aesthetic Beauty, soon you will need to hold a level 4 qualification.  This is due to the developing regulations from the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practicioners (JCCP).

 

The level 4 will allow you to carry out Chemical Peels (to the stratum corneum only), Microneedling (up to 0.5mm with a manual device) and Laser, IPL or LED Therapies (Hair removal, non-ablative skin rejuvenation and treatment of benign sun-related hyperpigmentation.  LED for Acne).

 

We also offer Individual NVQ Units for people that may not require a whole NVQ qualification and allows you to study just the units relevant to your profession.  We offer Individual Units in Facials, Electrical Facials and Massage.

We specialise in teaching you how to carry out all treatments in the most practical ways to become a mobile therapist.

In addition to the standard required teaching units in the practical areas, we include – at no extra cost – workshops to enhance your chances of employment at the end of the course.  We offer workshops in

When do your NVQ Courses run?

Our NVQ courses for both Level 2 and Level 3 start at least once a month.  For the latest course dates, please contact us on any of our contact details.

 

Can I pay in installments?

We offer flexible payment plans, allowing you to pay for your NVQ over the duration of the course.  Please contact us if you would like to discuss a payment plan.

 

Do I Need a Uniform?

You will be required to wear a black or white tunic with black trousers.

 

What Qualification Will I Receive?

What Can I Do After The Course?

On completion, you can progress on to a range of Level 3 courses including: beauty therapy and holistic and electrical therapies.

 

What Is The Difference Between an NVQ and a Diploma Qualification?

A Diploma allows you to train in a subject and acquire a qualification allowing you to get professional insurance to trade as a mobile therapist.

 

If you would like to work in a Spa or a Salon a Diploma qualification, would not be enough to gain employment.  To work in a Salon or a Spa, you would be required to hold an NVQ qualification.
